ACT Branch 'Claytons' Awards Night
Hear about our picks of the best Australian children's books of 2010!
Location: Centre for Teaching and Learning, Stirling.
Members - No cost
Non-Members - $10.00
Light supper included. Jacaranda will be offering a range of quality children's books for sale.

Emily Rodda Talk, University of Canberra building 24
Invitations will be issued to financial members, RSVP essential.
No cost, catering provided. The talk may be followed by a members dinner with Emily Rodda, RSVP to the University of Canberra for the event, and  Rebecca Kemble for dinner.

Saturday 20th - Friday 26th. Childrens Book Week 2011: One World, Many Stories

Wednesday 24th August, 4:30-6pm

Children's Seminar
We invite children to attend an afternoon where Australian authors and illustrators will speak and answer questions. The children are encouraged to bring with them any copies of books by the speakers, to have signed or to use as reference for discussion. Afternoon tea will be provided and the children who attend will be presented with a certificate.
Location:
Aranda Primary
Age: Year 4 to Year 10. Schools may send up to 6 students.
Cost: $7/student (members) $8/student (non-members)
Bookings must be made and paid for by 19th August. Contact: act@cbca.org.au

ACT Branch AGM
University of Canberra Library, Training Room 1 (level A)
Light supper provided. The Lu Rees Archives will be having a book sale of their duplicate and non-Australian books at the AGM

Tuesday 15 November, 5:30pm

ACT Branch Christmas Shopping Night
Meet at Dymocks Belconnen for discounted shopping.
Dinner at Jamison Southern Cross Club, Catchpole Room.
Members' guests are welcome. Please bring a toy for our charity Xmas hamper.
